项目依托海口市“东进”发展战略，演丰将成为集科技创新，健康人居，生态环保和文化旅游于一体的特色城镇。致力将大演丰片区打造为中国首个自贸港区、高端新产业集聚地与泛南海文旅胜地，并促成红树林申遗。核心区凭借交通优势和完备设施开发创新之城，规划为温和开发，核心区内绿脉相连、水系贯穿，绿脉连通南北红树林保护区，由岛链组成；三片区完善产业布局，形成九个尺度适宜、功能混合、职住均衡的紧凑组团。

The project is located in Yanfeng Town. Yanfeng will become a featured town integrating scientific and technological innovation, healthy living, ecological environment protection and cultural tourism. It is committed to make  Yan Feng Area into China’s first free-trade port area, high-end new industry gathering place and tourism resort, and promote the discovery and protection of mangrove forests. The Yanfeng core area develops a city of innovation with its transportation advantages and complete facilities. It is moderate development--focusing on low-carbon manufacturing, life and health, and modern service industries. The core areas are connected by green and water systems.
